mind the light

when filming keep in mind where the light is coming from. you could se the shadow of the camera and your hand in the whole video.

what to improve?

first: make something longer. second: USE YOUR OWN BODY! this is something i do, look at yourself doing what you want your character to do. notice your legs, arms, hips, head. notice the position they are and try to imitate it with your drawings.
now go and make something that's twice has good.

really nice!

the visuals were not that great, BUT! this whole animation was done using frame by frame animation! i know this took a lot of time to make, and the effort showed. the angles you pulled off where good. just make the drawings better and you'll make something AWESOME! ;)

it was elegant. the music made everything look and feel so clean! you make stick figures proud :D i would, however have some sound effects for the fight, then have the fight muted at the part when they both fall. but that's just me :3

HAVE SOUND!! remember that a sequel ALWAYS has to be better than the last one. i hope you do..... because this one wasn't good :/

i agree with teejay

the mario-sonic cross over thing is REALLY common in sprites. if you want to do a sprite animation, i recommend at least changing the characters..... i mean the bar has been set pretty damm high for sonic-mario sprite animation with "super mario bros. Z"

Way too late for me to change characters, haha. I've always loved the idea of Sonic and Mario together since I was young (I jumped for joy when I found out Sonic was announced for super smash bros brawl XD).

I know its hard to see, but I've never had the intention to compete with SMBZ, despite being inspired somewhat by it.

people might criticize the art and the audio.... actually yeah, it could be better, BUT! it all came together really nicely. the drawings went with the quality of the audio ( not a diss >.> ) i really laughed at this. good job :D

make sure the window is the right size for your animation. also the pauses took too much away from the actual fighting.
